Precious Moments & Zva Blog Hop Winners

Awww, my sweet little Delilah. She's already 17 months....growing so fast. I love this picture of her. Her eyes remind me of the Precious Moment figurines....you know the tear drop eyes. She looks like a little doll, my mamas!!

This was my first time using Graphic 45 pattern paper. First seeing them, they weren't really my style. Then, Gabrielle did a page using the Le Romantique collection. I was like, "Are those butterflies I see!!".....lol! I was sold. I scraplifted some elements from Gabi's page.

Precious Moments

I did the ribbon weaving then glued lace behind the paper.

I ripped off the top layer of the Prima flower and added the my lace that I used throughout the page. Then glued the top layer back on.

Here I just distress the edges, rolled the corners and and glued lace behind the rolls.

Take the Time *ZVA CREATIVE*

Another Design Team layout for Zva Creative. This time I went for the new Pink Crystal Flourishes and Rhinestone brads.
Pink and purple is one of my all time favorite color combos. I just love the look...so dramatic!!

The pattern papers are from DCWV Rustic Paper pack. The dark purple paper was a solid circle in the middle. So I carved it out quite carelessly to get the distressed torn look. Then, place another pattern paper behind it and embellished inside the circle.

Take the Time

Although my page has lots of layering and distressing, the crystal flourishes stick fine.

I handmade the flowers and I'll be doing a short tutorial soon. These are a so much easier to make than the other layer flowers that are circulating around.

I also made the butterflies. The little roses buds are from my stash.

Thanks for taking the time and I truly appreciate your ever so sweet comments ♥♥♥

Silent Thoughts

I got my new Swirlydoos kit for May. The colors are of rich reds and black. So, I had to use my Zva Creative Black Crystal Flourishes. I used a picture from Nefferteari's "photo shoot". I placed a black sheet behind her for a more dramatic look. I like the way it picture came out...you know for an amateur and all.

Silent Thoughts

The new Zva Flourishes are made with a little black rhinestone flower at the ends. So cute!!

I took out the centers of the petaloo flowers and added some roses from my stash.

Around the circle I uses Zva's crystal strands. I have these stick pins at my shop that match the kit perfectly!!

And these nylon butterflies.

Thanks for stopping by!!!!

ZVA CREATIVE BLOG HOP

Zva Creative DT Blog Hop!

We are all joining together today to share a project that we have created using some of our favorite Zva Creative products. I am hoping that you will take some time to join us for a TON of fun!

Each designer's blog will share a unique sketch that was created with paper...and there's a twist! It's a sketch that's designed with both scrapbooker's and card makers in mind. In addition to having the design laid out for you, each blog will have it's own color combo. The sketch can be turned and the color placement can be changed around. If you see a flower element on a sketch, please feel free to change it to something else if you like. Each sketch is a 6 x 6 page, but you can adapt the design to be horizontal, vertical or even a circle! The colors don't have to be exact, just stay within the color family that's provided (including using a lighter or darker shade). Adding neutrals like white, brown or black is ok...and "making it your own" is always fun to see!

The Blog Hop begins at Kim Hughes' blog:Paper HUGS. She is linking to one of the Zva designers and that designer is linking to the next and so on. There are 12 design team members, so be prepared to be inspired along the way.

We would LOVE to see how YOU create with ZVA CREATIVE products! Please use this sketch to create any type of project (card, layout, home decor etc.) Your project must include Zva products to be in the running for one of the prizes. Add a link to your project in the comments section under this blog post. (A permalink is best. but if you don't have that option, please list the post date of your project). You will have until midnight, Thursday, April 29th to play along.

Hidden on 5 of the blogs is a wonderful Zva Creative prize package...Woohooo! Those blogs will be randomly chosen after the hop is over, so it's important to participate on as many blogs as you can (but you do not need to use all 13 sketches). The 5 winners will be announced on Friday, April 30th. We will do our best to notify each winner, but it's best if you can pop in to all of the blogs once again on Friday...plus, you never know what kind of inspirational projects that you may find..

Sooo busy....long post!!

First off, I'm gonna warn ya, it's gonna be a long one!!!!!

So, I have the kids home from Spring break. On top of that we've had three birthdays and Easter!!! Between feedings...lol..and making stuff for my shop I've been up to my ears in what seems like the never ending day. Don't get me wrong, I love my kids to death, but when the four of them are all together it's like they've had sugar rush ALL DAY but with no sugar!! I swear I can't even take a leak with someone knocking on the door asking if I've seen their Bella Sara cards. Ah, my kids, I love them sooooo!!!

Well, Nefferteari's birthday came first. My little diva turned 12. Holy Smokes!! TWELVE!!! Next year she'll be a teenager, full of attitude. Oh wait, that's her already!! LOL!! Really, she's not that bad. She has this thing where she just LOVES to roll her eyes!!! It's cool, I still do it...probably where she got it from...heehee!! So for her "photo shoot" I told her to roll her eyes all she wants! Oh you know....I'M SO SCRAPPING THIS PIC!!

Michael's birthday was next. I didn't get a picture, the guy is never home! He's graduating May 15th. So you know I'll have a shit load of pictures then!!!
Aww, here is my handsome little Sonny!! He turned 6!! This little guy melts my heart!! He is the sweetest, most honest, loving, respectable boy you'll ever met! He is so well behaved and he loves me soooooooooooooo much!!!
I don't have any pictures for Easter because we just all stayed home and did absolutely nothing together!!! It was the greatest day!!!!

I finally got some me time and did a page!! Yay!!!
I used the Swirlydoos Manufactures Spotlight Kit...which was Prima!!!!
Young Beauty

For the longest time I always wondered how Gabrielle did the woven ribbon. I tried it a few times and it was so bulky in the back. She did a tutorial on her blog and it was like a light went on!! It's two holes not one!! Lol...check out her
blog you'll know what I mean.

I ♥ stick pins! If you have the right color of beads you can match any pin with a page.

This is just a close-up of the paper tearing and rolling.

I really didn't like the center of this flower, so I ripped it out and added the Prima page pebble.

If you didn't die of boredom ...lol...and finished reading this post...THANKS A BUNCH!! You're a sweetheart!!
