Winter Pages

I was able to get some scrapping done this weekend. Michael was home and was able to help me out with the kids. He's a keeper..lol!! Here are my latest.....

Baby! It's cold outside
When I was pregnant with Delilah I saw
this layout at Sb.com. I fell in love with the photo. So, here is my take...the girl version...lol!!

I painted the chipboard snowflake pink then sprinkled pink glitter. I also added the glitter to the flower..using stickles first then loose glitter.

I have these cool branches at my
etsy. I used a tiny piece of wire to hold it down.

I made my own flourishes to match the color of the layout.

I find it easy to paper tear if your spray Glimmer Mist, then tear and roll. After you have a nice sheen.

Warm Winter Wishes
I love this color combo for winter.

I used my cricut to cut out the snowflakes, then sprayed with purple Glimmer mist.

Here is a photo of the other branch.

I added my
Sugar Coated Butterflies and trails

Just a close up of the winter branches. They are really pretty IRL!!!
Thanks for taking a peek!!

Sweet *ZVA CREATIVE*

Hello all!! Hopefully you all had a safe and filling (in love and food..lol) Thanksgiving!!!
I just want to share my latest DT layout for ZVA.

Sweet
This is Delilah when she was ten months old. She's always a happy baby!!
For the title, I inked the clear rhinestones with green alcohol
ink to match the green flourishes.

I used the gorgeous green rhinestone flourishes.

I loaded up the bottom of the page with the oh-so-pretty blue and white roses.

In the little tears at the top I added the green roses.
Thanks!!!

Delilah turns ONE

My sweet little Delilah turned one this past weekend. It really is true, they grow so fast. She isn't walking yet...just taking a few steps here and there. She is so lovable...she gives lot of hugs and kisses. She gets so sad when one of the other kids are crying and wipes away the tears. She has a heart of gold!!!
I did a birthday photo shoot. No way am I a photographer, but I think I did an okay job. It was so hard to get her to stay still so we were giving her candy...lol!! Here hair is a little messing because she kept pulling off the headband. This is the photo that we are passing out to the family. My little doll!!!

I just love her chubby cheeks and her beautiful brown eyes!!!!

Her she is getting ready to dig into her cake. She loves Tinkerbell!

BESO
This is a page that I did a few days ago. I used one of her photos from the "shoot". I made the butterflies from an old scrapbook paper. I love the softness of this page...usually my pages are a little darker in tone.

Mermaidia

Delilah as a Mermaid for Halloween. I've had this DCWV paper pack for years and haven't used it. I think it worked out perfectly for this photo. I used lots of Prima Pearls and the strands and pins are from my stash. I sold out of the strands at my etsy, but you can find the pearl pins.

Thanks for looking!!!

ZVA CREATIVE DT LAYOUT

Here it is...my very first design team layout for Zva Creative. As soon as I received the package in the mail, I immediately got to work. There's so many beautiful products to work with.

Bloom
My baby girl Delilah. I've had this picture printed out for some time now and just couldn't find things so go with it. UNTIL...I saw these hot pink flourishes. PERFECTO!!
Here is a close-up of the cute little dragon flies, tiny pearls and a long strand of pearls that I curved around the circle.

Zva had the cutest roses and buds.

I used 1 big pearl to "hold down" the folded corner so the music sheet could peek through.

I made the butterflies and added the pearls for the bodies.

Thanks for taking a peek!!

Silver Bells Christmas Embellishment Kit at my etsy

I put together this new kit for my esty.... www.angelicafranssen.etsy.com I just love the color silver for Christmas. This kit has so much shimmer and looks much better in real life.

Here's a layout using the kit.
The Magic of Winter
Delilah has the cutest little face for hats. I just love her chubby cheeks. I thought this was the perfect photo for this kit!!

Here is a close-up of the branch, flowers, beaded strand and butterfly. The butterflies are handmade by me :)

I also made some flourishes that coordinate with the kit.

The little bells are so cute!!!
Thanks for stopping by!!

Make Your Own Glue Dots Tutorial

In case you haven't seen this on YouTube...I thought I'd do a quick tutorial of my own to help my fellow scrappers out.

I, for one, LOVE glue dots. I use tons of them all the time to adhere all my flowers and dodads to my layouts. I like the brand Zots over Glue Dots and Fiskars. But, they don't sell Zots at Wal-mart or Target anymore. At Michaels they're way to expensive. So, when I seen this on YouTube I was sold!!!

This is what you need to buy...Aleene's Tack-It Over and Over. You find it in the aisle with all the glues in your local craft store. It cost alittle over four bucks. TOTALLY WORTH IT!!!

Use up your store bought glue dots for the last time. Try to save the the wax paper for your new glue dots. You can also you sticker sheets. DO NOT use real wax paper. I tried it and the top sheet stuck to the glue dots.

What I did was cut the roll into 5 inch long strips. You will need two...one for the glue dots and another for the cover.

The glue comes out of the tube smoothly and rounds itself out! DOT DOT DOT.......

Here's my sheet all full of dots. You know when it's dry when the glue is clear. Well, not really dry, but tacky...KWIM??!! Be sure to put the other sheet untop of the "dry" glue dots. I have made 20 of these sheets and it hasn't even put a dent in the bottle!! That's 1200 Glue dots!! AND...they work HELLA GOOD!!! They are super tacky and adhere perfectly!!

Hope this saves you lots of mula!!!

Exciting news.....

At Scrapbook.com Zva Creative was hosting a Contest using their supplies. I entered....ofcourse I love their products!!
Saturday night I get an Email stating I won 1 of the 5 $50.00 prizes!!!!!! Totally excited!!!!!!!

Well, Zva was also looking for new Design Team Members. I took a leap of faith( I never try out for anything) and sent in some of my pages.

Once I saw that I won the Prize I thought there would be no way that I also made the Design Team. I was alittle bummed.

But then, I get a phone call!!!!!! YEP!! It was Kim from Zva!!! OMG OMG OMG!!!!! I made it!!!! I MADE THE DESIGN TEAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm still in shock!!!! I've been scrapping for 10 years, never submitted to be published never tried for Design Teams. I thought I wasn't good enough.

But, like my friend Gabi said....This was MY year. I started this blog and my etsy. AND NOW!!!!! A ZVA CREATIVE DESIGN TEAM MEMBER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm soooo freakin' HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Trick or Treat..pic heavy.......

I'm a mom, I LOVE to brag when it comes to my kids!!

Happy Halloween!!!! We had a fantastic night....so, here is a recap of all the cute and cool costumes!!

Here are my four babies!! Looking as cute as ever!!

Delilah was a Mermaid. My mom made this costume for Cleapatra back in 1999. 10 years later and it fits ma mama perfectly!! I was surprises that Delilah kept her head piece on. She is totally adorable!!
My Sonny was, obviously, Darth Vader. He was so funny because he would do the heavy breathing behind the mask..sounding just like Darth...lol!! Elijah is on a total Star Wars kicked right now. For the first time in my life, I finally watched(thanks to Sonny) all the Episodes...LOVE them!!! I have the perfect Star Wars embelliez from Ek Success top use with his photos!!

Cleapatra was Wonder Woman. Like the pose??? Her idea, she came out of her shell in this costume. I think we were feeding her ego by telling her that Wonder Woman had blue eyes and brown hair just like her!!!

Nefferteari was a Goth Girl. Of course she had to add her little attitude to her photos...lol!! You know, she loves the camera!!

We went to my sisters to Trick or Treat. Here are all the kiddies together!!

My nephew Carlos was Mario. Love the pose...he's suppose to be jumping!!

Here is my lil nephew Jasen as Luigi. Totally dig their mustaches!!

This has to be my favorite picture of them. Totally into character!!
Well, thanks for taking a peek!! Hope you all had an enjoyable Halloween!!
